For /$(A, \del)\in \Ch\rmod$ a chain complex, $H^*(A) = {\ker \del\over \im \del}$ and $Z(A) = \Hom_{\Ch\rmod}(k[0]. A)$ and $B(A) = Z(A)/\sim$ where one mods out by nullhomotopic morphism?
